We have a kitchen! The stove & refrigerator are working and the dishwasher, sink & garbage disposal should be functional by tomorrow night.
It looks pretty different than when we bought the house, eh? Once we move in some of our stuff and get the final touches added, I will put up some nice comparison pictures.

More is going on in our lives than just the kitchen (like David’s birthday!), but unfortunately it appears as though we left the camera in Lancaster. Luckily, David’s phone has a pretty good camera on it (though no flash). Therefore I bring you: the dining room! It has degenerated massively from the nice organized “before” pictures. Ah well.
As for the kitchen, it is an empty shell. It now has new windows & just needs flooring, paint & cabinets etc. So we are hoping it will be usable by this weekend!!!!

Not a lot new for this week. One of the walls has new drywall. Supposedly this is the week of big changes. We can’t wait! Food options have been: rice, soup or going out to eat. We’re ready to have a kitchen again!

Since I last posted, the kitchen got a new sublayer of flooring and some new lightswitchs & plumbing. It doesn’t look a lot different yet. Maybe there will be some drastic changes this week.
Meanwhile, it’s rather dusty around here. We especially notice this after we leave and then return home. So you can call us The Pigpens at the moment.
