This week phase 1 began in the kitchen: demolition.
As of today, all of the cabinets and appliances are gone (except the refrigerator).
The drop ceiling and top layer of linoleum are also gone. It’s a great start!
Note: we have a new photo viewer. Once you’ve clicked on the first picture, put your mouse on the right side of the picture and an arrow will appear. After that you can go back and forth with arrows appearing on the left and right.

Today I went to a baby shower for my cousin Kate & her husband Justin. We had a great time at her parent’s house with lots of people and good food. Kate is due in April (I think) and it’s a boy!
I also got to meet a new puppy named Fritz belonging to my uncle Mark, aunt Heiki-Lara & cousins James and Conrad. Fritz is half Shih Tzu/half Beshaun = a Shi-Shaun. He is adorable!

We had a great time watching the Big Game with friends at Wayne’s house on Sunday. It’s nice to root for the underdog, but it was still fun to have David’s favorite team win.
We enjoyed experimenting with the free 3D glasses picked up at the grocery store, even though overall, the commercials were quite unimpressive.
