family portraits

We had fun with Daniel’s camera’s self timer last weekend taking family portraits. It was the last time all of the siblings will be together until Nathan returns from Taiwan next August. We had a great weekend together and some nice mementos (above).

quality time

Anika stayed with us for awhile in June and July. It was cool to have her around for more than just a short visit. She did a huge amount of work on our biggest closet while she was here and cooked for us several times – we got spoiled! While she was here we also went to the Manayunk Art Festival, saw some improv and film, and played a few games of Settlers. A few days ago she left for more adventures. another family gathering

This past weekend, we drove to Harrisonburg for the annual Brubaker reunion.

We saw fireworks, hiked, had a talent show and a baby shower.

Jasmine couldn’t be there because she’s out of the country and Nathan is preparing to leave the country as well, so he couldn’t come either.

We took lots of pictures so they wouldn’t miss out too much.

David and I had never met his cousin Heather’s daughter, Ella. It was so great to meet her!
