We drove up to Brooklyn for a short visit this weekend and saw my friend Michelle from high school and Becca from college. B was in a play at the end of her first year in her grad school program at Brooklyn College, Two Gentlemen of Verona. She played Julia. It was really fun to see both of them and to see Becca act again.

Last weekend I got to visit my hometown, Des Moines, IA. (David visited his hometown too!)
It had been almost two years since I visited, so it was definitely time.
I got to see my friend Laura and her new daughter, Ella! There was also a baby shower for my friends Matt & Ashley and hanging out with other friends too. I also got to meet my parents’ (potential) new dog, Libby. She was really sweet.
On Sunday I saw lots of people at church that I hadn’t seen in a long time. The kids were all transformed. It was a little surreal.
