transformation

basement-small.jpgThis weekend we did a lot of work on the basement.  We coated most of the walls with two layers of Drylock (sealant primer) and then painted the floor, walls and ceilings with colors.  The colors looked really good on the computer, but in real life, they’re a little funky.  I’m a bit unsure how I feel about it.  But it’s definitely cleaner than it used to be and feels more like a real room.  Here are a few pictures.

Also, we found a home for Ashes!  A Temple graduate student contacted us through Craigslist and will provide a good home for her.  I think it will be an improvement for all involved.

Wow, these photos are great! I especially love Chloe looking queenly! I’d say, it’s better to take some risks (as with the paint color) than to have a boring life. Eager to see you all, and I’m so happy for Ashes (and Chloe, and you!) that she has a good home. Yay! Love, M

Is Chloe back to her old self now that Ashes is gone? I hope so. It was so sad.
