settling in

I think all of our boxes are now upacked. A few pictures are even hung on the walls! The house is finally starting to feel like a place I would want to spend time. We’ll try to get a few more things done before next weekend when we have several guests, but overall, things have really come together. Hopefully we’ll post some pictures soon, but it’s really best in person (hint, hint).

The flowers are a housewarming gift from our neighbor, Carol. It’s nice to feel welcome.

No! Pictures now! How long do you think we can wait????

Really, how is Chloe adjusting? Does she get the run of the house at night? I would like to see the kitchen and now that you are using it and the living room.

Please, sir, I want more!

Well, now aren’t we a little anxious. :-)

Chloe is adjusting quite well. She does get the run of the house at night, which I think she appreciates quite a bit more than being locked in one room all night. She is also using her “cat tree” quite a bit more. When we are in the living room, she can often be found lounging on the top tier.
