We bought a house today! It is a row home on Phil Ellena Street in Mt. Airy. Tomorrow is our 2 year anniversary and this was a momentous way to celebrate. It is always a little nerve-wracking to see a house once all the stuff is cleared out of it, but there were no scary surprises and we actually liked it more. All of the plans we have for it are going to make such a great difference.

After signing all of the closing papers, we put on work clothes and went to work on the lovely green carpeting. It was incredibly dusty and dirty but the floor underneath has great potential. There is even an inlaid pattern that goes around each of the rooms. Click here for before & afters.
